David W. Prince
Vice President, International & Academic Liaison

After 30 years of academic and administrative service at Ohio University, David Prince has
spent a decade as a strategy and business development consultant. Emerging from his
lifelong engagement with scientific inquiry and images (both still and moving), David’s
business interests have focused on imaging and information technologies. One dimension
of this engagement is David’s “life member” status with the Society of Motion Picture and
Television Engineers (SMPTE) for over 20 years of continuous service in elected or appointed
offices.SMPTE is the world-wide recognized organization for setting standards across all
media, including next-generation high-definition and 3D displays. His multi-disciplinary
vision helps to bridge the world of academics with the training and communication needs
of the world of business, both domestic and international. David is professor emeritus at
Ohio University and serves as international and academic liaison for ONYX.
